Madison Grausam earned firsts on beam and vault to power the Brainerd Warriors to a 136.15-133.8 Central Lakes Conference victory Thursday over the Sartell Sabres at Brainerd High School.
Rachel Hoffman won the bars with an 8.75 for Class 2A’s 17th ranked Warriors.
Grausam scored a 9.2 on beam and a 9.2 on vault helping her place second in the all-around with a 35.75.
“We had a lot better meet today than we did Saturday,” said Warriors head coach Dave Maras. “We were good on bars tonight. It was our best night of the year on bars and we had a great floor, too, so it was a good night. We competed well and we are getting better and getting more consistent.”
The Brainerd Warriors junior varsity team lost to Sartell 122.5-1221. Hoffman won the vault with an 8.7 and Jenny Muesing won the beam with an 8.3.
