COLD SPRING — Ian Haug led Brainerd with 16 points and Jack Sauer finished with 14 in a 68-65 Central Lakes Conference loss to Class 3A’s sixth-ranked Rocori Spartans Thursday.
The Warriors saw their four-game winning streak come to an end after leading by three points at the half.
“We came out on the wrong end and lost a close one to a good team that has the lead in the conference,” said Brained head coach Scott Stanfield. “We played a good game and if a couple of more things had gone our way, the outcome could have been different.”
