SARTELL — Kyle Helmberger turned away 23 of 25 shots by the Sartell Sabres in the Brainerd Warriors 4-2 victory in Tuesday’s Central Lakes Conference game.
Sartell took a 1-0 lead nine minutes into the second period on a goal by Blake Guggenberger before Logan Rivard tied the game at 14:49 with an assist from Jed Rusk.
Cole Smith put Brainerd up 2-1 early in the third.
Reno Fussy and Matt Pohlkamp scored the final two goals to seal the win for the Warriors, who improved 7-0 in the conference and 13-3 overall.
