Matt Pohlkamp’s penalty shot at the 9:24 mark of overtime gave the Brainerd Warriors a 3-2 Central Lakes Conference win over the Sauk Rapids Storm Thursday at Brainerd Area Civic Center.
The Warriors got a goal from Aaron Rich on an assist from Logan Rivard and Chris Pohlkamp in the first period for a 1-0 lead. Brainerd then took a 2-1 lead in the second period on a goal from Cole Smith with an assist to Mitch McLain, but the Storm tied the game up with a goal in the third period.

I don't know where you guys get your stats from but the shots were not even close to 21-40. I video taped the game and thought the guys in the booth did a good job of keeping track. The shots were 27 for Brainerd and 23 for Sauk Rapids. If we play like that against Roseau coming up, we're going to get spanked.
