Area players named to All-Section 6-1A team

Pillager’s Matthew Doss, Travis Richards
and Adam Manlick and Pine River-Backus’
Nathan Holm and Beau Howard were named
to the All-Section 6-1A Tournament team.
Doss, a senior quarterback, Richards a ju-
nior running back-linebacker, and Manlick, a
junior guard-linebacker, helped the Huskies
to the section semifinals.
Holm, a senior quarterback and free safe-
ty, and Howard, a junior receiver and cor-
nerback, were key players in the Tigers’ 5-4
season.
Mahnomen, which won the section title,
landed five players and Browerville placed
four players on the team.
