ST. CLOUD — Brainerd was eliminated from the Division I, District 6 tournament with an 11-7 loss to the St. Cloud Chutes in the losers bracket Thursday night.
Jack Hegarty and Bruce London both went 2-5 for Brainerd with Paxton Beadle picking up the loss.
“We had a good bunch of guys who played hard and never gave up,” said Brainerd coach Joey Tautges. “They did what they could and I respect them for that.”

ST. CLOUD — Jack Hegarty struck out seven and walked one to pitch Brainerd to a 2-1 victory Thursday over Big Lake in the losers bracket of the Division I, District 6 tournament.
Ben Stall went 2-3 with a stolen base and Dalton Tibbetts was 1-3 with a stolen base and two RBIs.
