BOYS TENNIS: Staples-Motley gets first win

WADENA — Guthrie Coughlin and Antoine Moumal posted wins at No. 1 and 2 singles to help lead the Staples-Motley Cardinals to a 4-3 Mid-State Conference victory over the Wadena-Deer Creek Wolverines Thursday.

Also winning for the Cardinals were the doubles teams of Grant Longbella-Dale Vogt and Colton Paskewitz-Spencer Swendson.

Winning singles matches for the Wolverines were Austin Korkowski and Drew Larson. Aaron Karlson-Jaysa Rafi went three sets to win at No. 3 doubles.
