The Upper Midwest Golden Gloves Boxing tournament is scheduled at Northern Lights Casino in Walker at 7 p.m. Saturday and at 1 p.m. Sunday.
Region 4 boxers include Kevin Harper of Wadena (114 pounds), Nate Rubin of Brainerd (132) and Jose Perez of Wadena (super heavyweight).
Winners advance to the national tournament April 25-30 in Indianapolis.
Track meet moved
to Sauk Rapids
The Brainerd Time Trials track and field meet scheduled Thursday has been moved to Sauk Rapids.
The meet, which includes Brainerd, Rocori and St. Cloud Tech, will begin at 4 p.m. at Sauk Rapids-Rice High School, 1835 Osauka Rd. N.E.
Softball postponed
Brainerd’s scheduled softball doubleheader Thursday at Moorhead was postponed due to field conditions.
A make up date has not been set.
