Josh Archibald was named the most valuable player of the Central Lakes Conference champion Brainerd Warriors boys hockey team Thursday.
Archibald set a single-season school record for points (78), is the school’s all-time assist leader (89) and ranks second in career points (152).
Earning All-Central Lakes Conference honors this season were Archibald, Mitch McLain, Matt Pohlkamp and Aaron Rich.
All-CLC honorable mention went to Mason Fussy and Gaven Motschenbacher.
In addition, Archibald and Fussy have been selected to play for the Section 8 All-Star Team and will participate in that tournament April 1-3 in St. Paul.
