Northland Hockey Group has developed a practice intensive program it will market to the Brainerd lakes area, Pequot Lakes, Deerwood, Little Falls, Wadena, Crosby and other surrounding associations.
This program offers 15 hours of practice time, two tournaments, game jersey, practice jersey and socks for $375.
While the program is tagged AAA, it’s effectively a developmental team that will play other developmental teams at a similar competitive level. This program is more practice intensive than other Northland Programs.
Most teams finish before Memorial Day weekend, allowing significantly less conflict with other sports and 3 vs. 3 hockey.
2002, 01, 00, 01 boys will play one tournament in August. The tentative plan is to move two practices from May to August just before the tournament.
Additional practices and tournaments are available to teams wishing to do so. Costs incurred would need to be handled by those teams individually.
Coaches are generally from area communities. Their compensation is one free player registration (one discount per team, multiple coaches may split discounts).
