Emilee Branum's 15 points led the Brainerd Warriors during Saturday's 75-56 non-conference loss to the St. Michael-Albertville Knights at Brainerd High School.

The loss snapped Brainerd's three-game win streak and dropped it to 4-4 overall.

"It was a good effort, we played hard, and had a great first half," said Brainerd head coach Brian McAllister. "We just ran out of gas in the second half."

Jalynn Lamb tallied 12 points followed by Kayla Kraemer's 11 and Ally Mueller's 10. Mueller added a team-high eight rebounds for the Warriors, who committed 31 turnovers.

"Some of it was fatigue, but what hurt us was their depth and team speed," said McAllister.
