“Having our top two boys place so well and seeing our girls finish second and fourth against teams we haven’t seen this year that are in our section was encouraging,” Warriors co-head coach Chris Hanson said. “We were also pleased because we battled Little Falls, who we know is a strong team.”

Little Falls was the overall team champion with total time of 2:59.15. Bemidji was second and Brainerd third at 3:14.49.

In the junior varsity boys 5km freestyle race, Brainerd’s Connor Gunsbury was 16th at 15:16. Martina Giger was 10th in the JV girls race at 17:36.
