ST. CLOUD - Sierra Hanowski scored two goals to lead the Brainerd/Little Falls Flying Warriors past the St. Cloud Icebreakers 5-2 in Central Lakes Conference play Thursday.
The Flying Warriors are 4-0-1 in their last five games.
Hanowski and Lizzy Desrocher each added two assists for the Flying Warriors while Desrocher, Sarah Sorenson, and Hailey Joyce each put a puck in the net.
"It was a solid effort, we played exceptionally well in the third period," said Flying Warriors coach Rod Peltoma. "Defensively, we shut them down in the third and that was the difference.
