BAXTER — As a result of remodeling plans under way at the Gander Mountain store in Baxter, the Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame is looking for a new home.
The Brainerd Lakes Chamber is researching the possibility of relocating a portion of the exhibit to the Brainerd Lakes Area Welcome Center on Highway 371 south of Brainerd.
The Minnesota Fishing Hall of Fame is exploring partnering with a Brainerd lakes area business to establish a permanent home for the exhibit.
This business partnership could lead to future marketing and promotional opportunities through fishing-related activities, such as fundraisers or hosting of the annual banquet.
Chamber officials said any individual or business interested in exploring this opportunity may contact Hall of Fame Board Member Jeff Zernov of Dragon Hunter at 851-6038.
