Pool ordinance
Come on city of Brainerd, we need to be consistent with the pool ordinance. Why did some people get letters to take them down and yet some still keep putting theirs up? It’s hard to explain to your child when you drive around town seeing pools, but we can’t have ours up. Maybe you want to pay citizens to be on “pool patrol,” because there are a lot of violations out there.
Lemonade stands
I love it when I see kids selling lemonade and other things during a garage sale. Please try to buy something from them. After all, they are our future entrepreneurs. The last garage sale I went to, the kids made around $50 and actually donated it all to an animal shelter. How cool is that? Way to go kids!
