Where’s the Lynx?

I don’t get it. The Lynx take a national championship and it’s not even pictured anywhere in the sports page nor any mention on the front page. I think they’re really deserving of this since Minnesota hasn’t had a real championship since 1991. Shame on you guys.

Four questions

I have four questions for the board of education. 1. What is the student to teacher ratio in the Brainerd system? 2. What is the non-teaching personnel ratio to students in the Brainerd system? 3. How much is the total compensation package for the superintendent cost? This includes salary, retirement, health care, vehicles, everything. 4. What is the impact on these figures going to be if the levy passes and if the levy fails?

Bump and grind dancing

I recently picked my daughter up from the Brainerd High School homecoming dance and many of the kids were bumping and grinding on the dance floor. This provocative dancing needs to be banned in the Brainerd school system. It is lewd, sexually suggestive and we as parents need to make a stand and call the school officials indicating this type of dancing will not be tolerated.
