WASHINGTON — House Speaker John Boehner gave a speech Thursday outlining the GOP’s ideas for job creation and its prescriptions for the Joint Select Committee on Deficit Reduction. Allow me to quote two sentences from it.
There was this:
“If we want to create a better environment for job creation, politicians of all stripes can leave the ’my way or the highway’ philosophy behind.”
And there was also this:
“Tax increases, however, are not a viable option for the Joint Committee.”
The juxtaposition of those sentences perfectly encapsulate the past 2 1/2 years of U.S. political history.

Add commentThe Republicans aren't
The Republicans aren't willing to do anything meaningful to create jobs (in the US). Their only concern is to continue to "redistribute" more of the nations wealth upward and out of the country.
Now they are screaming "it's class warfare!". Yes it is class warfare and we are tired of it!
The same Republicans who are claiming to be against any tax increase and that letting a tax break expire is a tax increase were and still are willing to let the payroll tax break expire. That shows the true colors of the fascist Republicans.
Working class Americans DO NOT matter to the Republican party.
