Thank you Representatives Ward and Radinovich!
As a gay individual who grew up in the Brainerd lakes area, I know that your votes in favor of marriage
equality were long-thought, and not easily made.
We have been told over and over, it will not affect our freedom of religion – if this was true, why would they put a provision in the bill to protect pastors? Why would they need to be protected? From who do they need to be protected?
And what about me as a Sunday school teacher? Who will protect...
This week the Minnesota legislature voted to pass marriage equality. I thank all the representatives that voted in support. Special thanks to John Ward and Joe Radinovich for their yes votes.

My name was Carol Johnson. Eventually, I fell in love with Bill Campbell and married him. I then became Mrs. Carol Campbell. We received Christmas cards, addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Bill Campbell.
Does anyone remember Barack Obama's great promise of the campaign of 2012? He did not make a promise to America nor to Americans. He did not make a promise to fellow politicians. Unlike so many of his promises, he is keeping this one.
