What should I give Gramps and Granny this year?
Gift receiving can be a problem for many of us in our elder years. I have found that I really don't need any more of the usual gifts that others think I might like.
There are only three things I would like for Christmas.
1. That the Baxter and Brainerd snowplows would clear the streets before all the cars compact it into ice.
2. That the cars parked on the street would be moved before the plows go down the street.
Christmas is almost here. The season when we give to those we care for, even our pets. Many of us have a Christmas stocking for our dogs or cats stuffed with some treats or a new toy.
It's amazing what some people will do to prove a preconceived opinion. I recently heard a report on cable news about an east coast college student who is hiking 400 miles across Antarctica to bring attention to climate change.
