I suggest that voters do know the critical part that government plays in our lives and we don't have to be reminded. What some voters want is some politician who will tell the truth about the debt and spending .

The last week of July we held a dance camp here in Brainerd. During their stay at The Lodge, a team of 16 members from New Richmond, Wis. lost three of their classmates back home in a car accident.

Is it time for a change on the Brainerd City Council? Mr. Olson packages a pretty folder of his interpretation of the city accounting procedures. When he was on the Personnel and Finance Committee, he refused to attend meetings.

Dispatch did not cover all candidates This past weekend the Brainerd Dispatch slighted the voters in Crow Wing and Aitkin County when they decided not to publish information on all the candidates that will appear on the Aug. 14 primary election ballot.

If two former Education Minnesota Union members and one current substitute teacher are elected to the school board who will represent the workers in the private sector? Can you say conflict of interest? One can only hope for “right to work” some day. Now you can’t teach unless Education Minnes...
