Politicians need to follow the rules
The Crow Wing County Fair policy is that politicians must campaign from inside their booths. No campaigning throughout the fairgrounds. That is, passing out literature, stickers, pressing the flesh, etc.
I recently completed reading an article in the July 2, 2012, issue of Time magazine on the profile of Sister Simone Campbell and membership of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious. I want to commend her for her fortitude.
The article last week about "Lyme disease fueling debate" was particularly interesting to me. I know many people with Lyme disease or as the CDC is calling it - post-treatment Lyme disease syndrome (PTLDS).
Lately there have been several comments in the news media about ethanol mixed with gas. All refer to the high impact the use of corn (as the primary source of ethanol) is having on our food supply and cost of food.
