On Aug. 29, the Greater Lakes Association of Realtors hosted a candidate forum. It included a very informative update on what is happening in St. Paul regarding property owners' rights and real estate related issues.

To design and build a city that is cool enough that our children don't want to leave is a worthy goal for us all to work toward. One of the aspects of a community that provides quality livability is green space.

Much has been made of President Obama's "you didn't build that" remark. I beg to differ Mr. President, it's true that most people in this country didn't physically build the roads, bridges and infrastructure.

I haven't heard one Republican-leaning person complain about how their political party wants to pretty much end birth control methods for women, have you? Not one that I know seems to care.

Vote no In November Minnesotans will face a proposed constitutional amendment that would limit the freedom to marry. There are certainly things that Minnesotans disagree about. some will vote for Obama and some will vote for Romney.

I don’t remember if it was Orchestra Hall or the Ordway, but I do remember that at one of those amazing spaces the guests for the very first performance were the hundreds of workers who built the facility.
