The last few years, we see a lot of survey/poll information in the media in regard to social, economic and environment issues that indicate people's valves, beliefs and morals are becoming more and more liberal.

We were told during the last election cycle by Joe Radinovich, “Marriage is already protected under the state Constitution, it doesn’t need a marriage amendment to protect it.”

Nancy Pelosi once said, “We will have to pass this bill in order to find out what is in it.” Brilliant, just brilliant. Well, we are beginning to find out what is in it. Maybe people should have read it before they voted for it.

The author of the April 30, 'Right to Marry' says: "It seems clear to me that our government shouldn't be in the business of deciding who is and who isn't "normal" enough to marry someone they love.

As Mother’s Day approaches I find myself in a very contemplative mood because this is the first time in my life I do not have a mother to honor. Certainly I can honor her memory, but that doesn’t fill the void in my aching heart.
