No GOP alternative
My name is Claudette Moran, and I am writing in response to the stories regarding Mr. Mills’ congressional candidacy, and Rep. Mark Anderson’s comments regarding MNsure. In essence, they both stated that they really wanted to “pull the plug” on both the ACA and MNsure, without any proposals for alternatives. They would rather have their constituents continue with the GOP framework of a multitude of millions of people without access to health insurance, and growing at a rapid pace. I find it ironic that the original health care exchange was created in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, and under the watch of former Gov. Mitt Romney. None of the GOP state and federal senators and representatives have offered any alternatives, except for state and federal government shutdowns, 40-plus fiscally irresponsible repeals and a fake filibuster from Sen. Ted Cruz.
The health care exchange is working, especially for people who needed health insurance the most. To the GOP party, just because you didn’t get your own way, does not give you the right to deprive other people equitable access to health care!
