I’m going to be “wise as a serpent” and “harmless” but not quite as a “dove” as Matt. 10:16 suggests. I’ll be a wise asp.
Obama/Roberts Care. Dr. Waters summed it up pretty well in the Dispatch’s article on the Affordable Care Act. First he asked, “Where’s the money going to come from?” Then he hit it on the nail. I applaud the effort, but I think once it’s here, we’re going to see it hasn’t totally been thought out. Amen.
Hey, Mrs. Pelosi, we now know what’s in it, can we give it back?
Social security has been around for years. You know, if Franklin Roosevelt had went into wrestling from politics, he would have probably used the name Frankie “The Socialist” Roosevelt. Franklin would have been too long. Yes, Congress got into the cookie jar and ruined the kitty for social security, that’s history, still, with the pyramid upside down with those on top increasing and those supporting them decreasing, it’ll be unsustainable someday anyway. Obama/Roberts Care is also because, just like the Viking stadium was suppose to get money from electric pull tabs, which, golly, never materialized, so betting tons of healthy, young people are going to buy health insurance is just as bogus.
Dr. Waters also warned that a lot of independent solo practices won’t be able to afford all the rules and changes, especially in electric record keeping and so on, who’ll have to merge into a hospital or clinic or quit. Either way, it’s less choice for us.
In conclusion, what makes Obama/Roberts Care so offensive is America was never designed to have its government be our “nanny.” This country’s first motto was “Mind your own business.” I wish Washington tried that.
Keep the faith. God bless and help us. Amen.
