Some time ago you published a front page photo of a squad car crashed into a truck. Things like that should be kept quiet. I mean, whose side are you on anyway?

Kept quiet ? Funny, cops aren't above any other person, tho they might like to think so. how many times iv'e seen them driving down the street on a cell phone or messing with the computer ? more than i should have is the point.
I do not understand why Mr. Turnquist thinks this should be kept quiet .... the cops should not be placed on a pedestal nor given the right of obscurity . They should be treated as everyone else is treated. We help pay their salaries, to serve and protect and enforce the law....;.not to be be above the law. I see no reason that a cop should ever be on his cell phone or computer while he is driving his/her car.
Go in the archives on Jan 2nd & look at that post. I'm a guessing that person might know something about it. I was looking for something about 1.5 wks ago & ran across it.
They already do, but they aren't given, they just take em, and we the taxpayers pay for those "special" privileges. They put their pants on just like we do, and no more special than the citizens of this town period... An officer friend of mine once told me, as an officer, i'm no more important than you are. Scumbags... affluent and poor, especially the ones that look down their noses at others

Sides?
Media should be an unbiased, fair reporting of the relevant news of our day. What kind of thoughtless complaint is this?

Jerrold Turnquist:
This is a joke, right?
I can't believe anyone would write something like this, unless I'm completely missing any sarcasm...
folks
I think he is looking for a follow-up on the situation.
What exactly happened?
I haven't seen anything myself, have you?

Cops
I think they should get special priviledges for being a cop...dealing with all the scumbags in this town
"privileges"
