Attention: The taxpayers of Roosevelt Township will have a tax increase starting in 2014 to improve some controversial roads to the tune of $850,000 plus interest besides using $20,000 plus of current funds. This is the decision of the town board who changed the type of indebtedness from original plans which now excludes the opportunity for voters to petition for a vote. Hearing set for Monday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m.
