Specificity needed
“Non-specifically known medical situation” — that is what the Dispatch printed as the reason for a traffic accident? I am going to try and remember this medical condition in case I get in an accident. I tried Googling it but it must be too new to get in their system yet.
If this was an “average citizen” that had this “non-condition,” would the result be the same?

The Dispatch is reporting the NEWS that is timely & made available from credible sources.
If you want your news " created" to drive profits by the likes of the hack conservative media entertainment complex , you might want to stick to the Faux Entertainment Network.
George Carlin once reported
George Carlin once reported that there was a newly discovered medical condition that had no symptoms and no known cure... Luckily no cases had been reported, Stay tuned.
Never fails
Pretty creative to take a story such as this and somehow
relate it to Fox News. Don't comment on the story, just
be a partisan with no facts.
As for this story, should he have been driving with this
"condition"? Will there be a lawsuit against the taxpayers?
I hope the guy takes care and doesn't drive in the future.
The paper hopefully is just reporting the facts available and
will further report the condition when it is defined .
Is it possible
that the medical condition of this person is none of anyone's business or possibly legally not printable??
Amazing Captron shows how far to the left he/she is
I am curious as to why someone has to comment about news organization not involved with this story whether it be fox news, or msnbc, or cnn. This issue isnt a democrat or republican issue, its an issue that concerns the Brainerd Lakes area and Crow Wing county. As far as whether or not the persons medical condition can or cannot be reported that is the responsibility of the Brainerd Dispatch to get the facts and report on it. Since it is the state patrol commenting on this accident, the dispatch should have asked questions and if the state patrol said they cannot comment on the persons medical condition then the dispatch should have said that. If the dispatch just took the information and didnt try and ask questions, well the dispatch looks bad then. As for everyone involved in the accident, I hope all are doing well.

Hey Sad Lady & vet68 , Its a traffic accident , get over it....
Sorry the only news outlet Im aware of that constantly makes up their own stories is Fox News or more commonly known as the Faux Entertainment Network.
Maybe if you 2 want to speculate ( create your on conspiracy ) about items in the news ,and demand more information maybe you should wait and see if anymore info becomes available, if not.
Quit complaining & go figure it out yourself . Dont bore readers with your meaningless nonsense.
Use the freedom of information act ,demand your rights while your parked in that chair waiting for all the answers.
Let your fingers do the walking....
HEY CAPTRON,
I would assume therefore that you are fully in agreement with the tripe put out on MSNBC !!!!
Headshake
After reading the queen of nonsense!!!
Not you OAR.
I wonder if Faux News
ever had a story on a couple potheads driving a jeep around and one getting so smoked up that he fell out and bumped his head? Did you ever see one OFB?
Them head injuries can addle a guy for life, I heard.
Meaningless Cap
I think we were commenting on the traffic accident and not
another news organization that has nothing to do with reporting the above mentioned traffic accident.
We are not the ones who have a one track mind about the
other news organization. That award goes to the Captron.
Sometime perhaps you can thrill us with a report that you
have witnessed of the made up stories on Fox News.
Not a report that you pull up on Media matters or any of those left wing propaganda sites. Not a link to any of your sites,
just your personal reporting on the made up stories.
Don't bore readers with your meaningless nonsense.
SADIE
Now, that is an interesting thought !!!
Captron get a clue
Well Captron you brought up the fox news channel. I only said why bring them up it has nothng to do with this story about the deputy. This shows how far left you are. Captron is the reason people think that democrats are off the deep end. I was just saying that if the dispatch did nto follow up and ask questions about the illness, then they are not doing their job. If they did, and the only got a no comment or somethign liek that tell the people they got a no comment so we atleast can see they are trying to provide the public information. Unless the disptach has turned the way off the main stream media and ignores getting to the heart of what really matters. We the people deserve to know the truth. Its to bad the main stream media has forgot what true journalism was about. Captron if you have a problem with me tell me. I am not a republican and I am not a democrat, I am an American first and foremost, political parties only get in the way of seeing the truth. I can admit when I am wrong or make mistakes, can you Captron? Try looking at things in a neutral light instead from a political side and youmight see things clearly, until then dont try and put me down or talk down to me, you dont know me. People read the dispatch for information to get the news, i was specualting on whether or not the dispatch followed up and asked questions. So Captron please take your arrogant attitude elsewhere. Thank you.

Distracted driving?
I would be willing to bet that this is more than likely a case of "distracted driving" but for law enforcement to admit they are violating the laws that they enforce would look very bad for them, so blaming this on a "medical condition" gives them an easy way out of accepting thier own results of distracted driving. Look into the next law enforcement vehicle you see and you will find a laptop attached to the dash and more then likely an officer on his cell phone without a hands free device. Its time to ask why law enforcement is allowed to play by a different set of rules than the rest of us when it comes to safety?
agree'd
Well said jthomps2, law enforcement needs to learn how to abide by the same set of laws they enforce, driving down washington st at 45 mph for no legitimate reason, or many of the other things we see them do don't wash in my book either.
