A Wonderful Time of Generosity and Good Will

The holiday season is my favorite time of year and I know I’m not alone. Our area is wonderful during the holidays — the snow, gifts and giving, decorations, family, friends, and joy are all clear evidence of that. We’re fortunate to live in such great communities.

It was my honor to ring the bell for the Salvation Army at Mills Fleet Farm recently and it gave me another opportunity to see your incredible generosity and good will. Despite the struggles in each of our lives, we do what we can to help those less fortunate than us. That’s what really makes this season special. While we all love to receive gifts, it’s the giving that warms our hearts and raises our spirits.

Thank you to those who give so much and celebrate the true meaning of the holidays. I hope you and your family have a safe and happy holiday. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all!
