When I was stationed in the Philippines, I would occasionally have a Philipino say to me: “You Americans are pretty nice people, but if you get ticked off, not so nice.” I never was sure how to take that but figured if they have a healthy respect of us, that is probably a good thing.
I now find it very disheartening to see what just happened to our ambassador and the two Seals and the other gentleman in Benghazi, Libya. The fact that our support people were told to stand-down, we bend over backwards to not offend any Muslims, then try to blame it all on a video and also attempt to lead from the rear is all very hard for me to comprehend.
God bless Tyrone Woods for disobeying orders and doing the right thing. The fact that our government didn’t send help is to me very disgusting. I know one of the Seals slogans is “We want to be in a situation under maximum pressure, maximum intensity, and maximum danger. Where it is shared with others, it provides a bond which is stronger then any tie that can exist.” It had to be extremely hard for our Special Forces people in all our military to sit by and do nothing to help.
I believe we need a new administration in Washington come November, please vote.
