Yes to marriage
We have been given a beautiful illustration of marriage in the Bible. Christ is portrayed as the bridegroom, and his church as his bride.
Let us not mock God’s perfect design for marriage — one man and one woman, united for their good and God’s glory.
I will be voting “yes” for the marriage amendment, hoping that my tiny grain of sand will help stem the tide of anti-traditional marriage in Minnesota.

You have the right to believe whatever you want, but you do not have the right to make laws that deny others to have their own beliefs. The government cannot support any one religion, but allow freedom of religion for all. My religion (Lutheran) allows gays to openly be in committed relationships (Marriage) and serve God. You cannot force your beliefs on me in the form of a law. The Constitution of our great state cannot create a law that denies a group of people rights because your religion does not recognize them as equal. Separation of Church and State was created to keep the state from supporting any religion over another. This amendment is doing just that. It is appalling that you think you are superior to another person and can deny them equal protection under the law.
