Printing trash

Printing trash

How can you call yourself a legitimate editorial editor by printing

Art Becker’s letters almost every day? They’re full of hate, lies

and ignorance.

Just imagine what the rest of the world on the

internet thinks of Brainerd when you print his trash. If you actually

share his opinion maybe you should quit and sign on with Art’s

favorite right wing scum blog.

Joe Patton

Yeah!

Tell it Joe! Just the ususal republican behavior of throwing as many lies out there as possible (most people have caught on by now, but apparently our 'audience development director' is in a permanent stupor).

Scum Blog

A right wing scum blog might be just the thing needed to get the truth out about that idiot liar currently claiming to be presidrnt. I; would volenteer to run the blog but there are just too many lies.
Maybe when Barry gets the boot next month, the lies will end. Let us hope for change. Love to all yes/ Romney voters - Steve - Hunka, hunka, burnin' love Busch.

the same con emails trickle through the democrat sector

I get them too...Art is just stupid enough to print them without actually checking first.

Each party has morons, ours just makes a fool out of himself almost daily.

Fish you shouldnt talk...you spew more falsehoods than Art and is proven so with facts.

Once when I wrote a letter I was told I couldn't reference a

letter writer's name in it (her name was Marcia Ferris, and don't you DARE delete this given you've actually PRINTED a letter with Art's full name). Have the rules changed or is the BD's bias showing...again.

And you want to talk about lies? Why don't we start with Obama claiming that Romney wrote that he wanted Detroit to go bankrupt. This was found to be false by all fact checkers and can be verified by anyone who wants to read the NYT's op-ed piece Romney wrote immediately after the debate (and before, I might add, because Biden pulled the same stunt) and yet Obama was caught spreading the same lie nearly a week later.

It's one thing for a local, unelected nobody to spread false rumors because he doesn't have the sense to fact check them, quite another for the POTUS to do the same thing with all his resources.

I wrote something once and

I wrote something once and just said, "the writer from Baxter"
and was told they wouldn't put that in as everyone would know who I meant. I didn't even mention the name of the person. This was a few years ago so, I guess it has changed.

No need to mention the name

This letter could have been written without mentioning Art's name. I look forward to the letter that mentions Joe Patton.
If he thinks it is ok to mention Art then he must agree that his name could be mentioned.

Hmmmm

I wrote a letter critical of Hillary Clinton once and was called by the editor. He demanded to know if I had a credible source for my comments.

It's nice to know the BDD is evolving into a new editorial position.

Besides the letter I wrote

Besides the letter I wrote about the "Baxter writer" that Mike
wouldn't put in, I also wrote a letter about Oberstar that he
wouldn't put in. I received a call from the editor and he ask
where I got the info. from and I said "from Oberstar's website, and his office". He wouldn't print it, so I gave up writing letters to the editor.

Unless someone is running for office, or in a public position, I don't think their name should be printed. But, now that the
line has been crossed, we shall see.

O'Rourke is a leftwing propagandist

Over the years I have seen some of the outrageous unsourced comments written by the loony liberals. I too experienced lefty sympathizer O'Rourke when I wanted to voice my opinion wanting all of my sources on my letter to the editor. I asked him about sourcing some of the outrageous mindless liberal accusations on other letters to the editors that I had recently read. He asked for specifics, so I then gave him some and he never bothered to even bothered to follow up on my concerns. I felt like I was singled out and that O'Rourke is arbitrary and discriminatory. He lost all credibility.

I don't mind sourcing as long as it is consistent and there is no double standard.
