Vote for Romney
Well, by now almost everyone that is going to vote knows who they are going to vote for.
For those who want a president that states he will have the most transparent presidency in history and then spends millions of dollars hiding his past activities, his college records, his wife’s records and why they no longer have lawyer licenses. A person in office that would not, until time for re-election, wear an American flag lapel pin for fear that people would think he was taking sides. Taking sides with whom? A president that goes to the Middle East and bows to the Muslim leader and then proclaims that America is no longer a Christian nation. You will note he never went to Rome and bowed to the Pope, I guess that speaks volumes about his religion. One who takes over an automobile manufacturing company, fires the CEO, puts it under government rule, pumps millions of dollars into it and it still is in danger of going under. One who appoints known terrorists to his cabinet. One who will no-longer allow American oil companies to drill in the Gulf of Mexico but will allow foreign nations to drill there. One that over two years coming up with any kind of birth certificate to prove where he was born. One who is concerned with how Mitt Romney earns and spends his money but refuses to tell how he earned his or who paid for his college tuition. Then I guess you deserve what we have and you probably will try to get him in again.
On the other hand if you want someone who doesn’t hide where his money comes from and how he earned it, a person who believes in the Constitution and will put America back on the right track, you only have one other practical choice. Please cast your vote for Romney. A protest vote for anyone else does not help. Romney has to get the most votes or we are stuck with this politically correct mistake we have now.

Less mystery with Romney's educational credentials than Obama's
Romney graduated from Brigham Young with highest honors and gave the commencement speech there. He also holds degrees in business and law from Harvard (that’s one more advanced degree from Harvard than Obama has, in case you aren’t paying attention). He was named a Baker Scholar while going to business school at Harvard, which puts him at the top 5 percent of his business school class.

When a person graduates with highest honors as an undergrad and is in the top 5% of his Harvard MBA class, I don’t really care what his transcripts look like. I graduated with highest honors from the U of M and know that you can’t graduated with highest honors generally without a GPA of 3.9 or higher.
The only reason people want to see Obama’s transcripts is that it is a true mystery how he got into Columbia from Occidental, and given that he didn’t even graduated with simple honors from Columbia, how he got into Harvard Law School. Clearly he was not accepted on academic grounds, so either he was an affirmative action candidate or someone was pulling some serious strings (like a certain Sheik, perhaps?)

Half of the men in my class served in the military during Vietnam. I don't know that they will be voting for the family who served in Paris.

Some of you really have your skirt over your head regarding Romney.
He went to Stanford (I think) 65-66 then went on his mission.
His grades were probably transferred to BYU and, of course,
they would accept him as he had just finished his mission.
I guess when you don't understand something it is best to make fun and question. I'm impressed that he did 2 higher level degrees at the same time at Harvard.
About the same time, I only went to one year of college
and years later my not so good grades did transfer.
I went on to finish a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree.I was able to get my GPA way up as I was no longer an immature freshman. This is why I think some don't understand and/or don't care to understand.
It seems Romney voters know about his background, but
Obama voters don't care about his. Just an observation.

When voting for Romney, I think that by now voters are well informed as I think he has made his plans and intentions very clear, if you have listened to what he has said at various times over the last several months. If you are on Social Security, poor, middle class, elderly, disabled, he has made it clear these people will need to pay more taxes so they can pay their fair share as he sees it. He has also made it clear that the programs that help these people will need cuts in funding and services. He has also made it clear that if you are a large corporation or extremely wealthy he would like to give you lower taxes and less regulations Seems to me that any poor or middle class person who votes for Romney is engaging in self defeating and masochistic behavior. I guess some people like pain and suffering.

Just read article in today's hard copy of WSJ , "How Romney tackled tax changes in MA." He closed loopholes in the corporate tax and the banking industry was hit hardest.
He got new revenue from business without alienating them.
The federal corporate tax code is a mess. Most companies take advantage of tax breaks but, they vary by industry. Construction pays 31% and mining pays 18%, Of course, both are on the average.
The individual income tax as you know is 70,000+ pages and
more being added due to the Obamacare law.
Mr. Romney wants to simplify both tax codes.That is a start,as he wants to make the system more efficent.
What a concept and I approve.
Now 47% apparently do not pay any federal income tax so, the burden is heavy for the others. We need to lower that number, more jobs add to the economy and would add to the tax collection. I really hate that when the Democrats try to scare older people, that is mean as none of this will affect them.

includes those on social security who pay no income taxes if their income is under a certain amount. It includes many widows. They will be voting, too. They know who is a threat to seniors. They aren't looking for jobs. They are looking to survive.

the sanitized ones of the last two years when he was running for president. It's a moot point now.

The bottom line is that 47% do not pay federal income tax.
Some of that number could be at a job and therefore paying
federal income tax. We need that number to be lower.
Don't get caught in the weeds of what he meant. Democrats are trying to make a case out of this to avoid the 47% number. If this country is to continue, then we need more people working and paying into the federal treasury.
We can't continue as is. I think it takes about 7 workers in the private sector to pay for 1 government worker.
Trying to figure out what Mr.Romney was saying at a private event that someone illegally recorded isn't offering any ideas
to jolt the economy.

If you don't like people taking advantage of all the rules and deductions then contact Senator Al Franken and Senator Amy Klobuchar. and ask for a simplified tax code.
Are you seriously going to read all the pages and documents of anyones taxes? If something has not been legal, the IRS
would be on it.
I think they did find something in Senator Al's taxes and he took care of it. They are complicated so all the more reason to simplify them.
