I have been noticing a lot of signs for Republican candidates along the roads in north central Minnesota.
Increasingly large numbers of people are recognizing that our country is in a dire situation under the current presidential leadership. Gas prices have doubled, food prices are skyrocketing, unemployment and under-employment is disastrously high and the number of people on food stamps is at an all-time high. Many Minnesotans are also recognizing that this current leadership is different from their father’s and grandfather’s Democrat Party. This is not the party of Hubert Humphrey and John Kennedy. This is something quite different; an ideology of overwhelming deficits, high poverty rates, weak foreign policy, unprecedented government expansion, regulation and control.
Freedom-loving citizens must change this suicidal course on Nov. 6. The future and well-being of our children and grandchildren hangs in the balance. Vote accordingly.
