Supports Obama

Now that the ‘big’ election is soon upon us I don’t intend to try to persuade anyone to vote for one party or another. Nonetheless, I have always looked to the Democratic Party for most of my selections. But I have deviated on occasion to the Republican Party offerings, and most recently to George Bush.

Currently, it looks like our two major choices will be between (Mitt) Romney and (Barack) Obama. I realy think they are both very fine men and would have kiked having either of them as neighbors.

If we are going to profit by being a little selfish, we need to back Barack Obama for another four years. We would have to be extremely brave to say we would have handled the Middle East situation better than he has, and just a little blindfolded not to see we still have a ways to go.

I can’t help but believe, that, you too felt proud to be an American when a worthy candidate of a racial minority asked for your votes and you elected him as your president.

Now, it is important that the candidates are good people, but what is even more important, is that you vote.

Ed Fox

Wow

There are big problems in the Mid-East today, we have a dead ambassador and 3 others dead. There has never been any policy by the Obama Administration ine the mid-east.

so, yes, I think there could be a better policy than none.

Barry Soretto AKA Barak Obama,

provided the guns that the Muslim Brotherhood used to murder our people. The facts that they are trying to cover up right now is that the men Murdered were trying to recover some of those weapons and cover Obama's tracks.
If you want to be selfish, Mr. Fox, go right ahead and vote for a guy that has violated our Constitution more than any other person ever.

Ed Fox developed buyers remorse over voting for W before

However Congratulations are now in order for you Ed , because you have seen the light.
For the yahoo who really thinks along the lines of crackpots like ( soon to be former) House Intelligence Commitee member Michele Bachmann .
Im afraid you better check your misguided Muslim Brotherhood conspiracy at the door.
Our current President is no more responsible for the death of an Ambassador , than your HERO Geo W Bush is for allowing all those people who died on 9-11 and those after during the Bush Wars.
Or have you forgotten all those already ?

talk about yahoos

The Obama State Dept. totally blew the whole Libya fiasco from beginning to now. If you don't know all the facts, then I suggest that you find another place to get your information.

Something like 13 requests for more security which were turned down is a start. Then blaming it on a video, spontaneous protest. There were warnings that were ignored.Secretary Clinton may be thrown under the bus.
It is a bit hard to defend not having daily intel reports in person when intel was missed and requests turned down or ignored.

Asleep at the wheel or campaigning or take your pick.
Fast and Furious is another problem with no one taking responsibility.
Pres. Obama is consistent in never taking any responsibility for anything throughout his life. Why start now?

prevention

No where did I mention Marines.
It is waaaaay before that like keeping up on the intel and
if there are all the threats don't put anyone in there or at least on 9/11 bring them out.

The State Dept. and intel. were not doing their job.
It is called preventing an attack.
There was and is no Mid-East policy from this administration.
I prefer not to think that it was Ms.Hillary's fault, but it is her
department and the President is the leader and the Commander in Chief. The buck stop with him.

Apparently Cap'n doesn't know that Steven's journal

...shows conclusively that he was worried about his safety for months before 9/11. But don't worry, Obama's policy of getting the Muslim extremists to "unclench their fists" is sure to pay off big dividends any time now!

Mr. Fox naive and has disregard of the facts

Contrary to Mr. Fox's opinion, we do not need ignorance in large numbers voting. This actually hurts our country. We need an informed electorate.

Thomas Jefferson warned that an uninformed electorate people would end up destroying the freedoms of our republic: "If a nation expects to be ignorant and free, ...it expects what never was and never will be."

Libya promotes safety alright , Bad things happen , get over it

Where else could the long time former leader of a country be pulled out of a culvert , shot 4 times in the head by a mob , stored in a shopping Mall freezer ,then put on display for days.
Do you really think the country may not have been safe ?
What a revelation..
Now we National Security Experts in the area ! WOW

It took the FBI 3 weeks to even get to the scene of the crime , must have been that Eric Holders fault again, HUH ?

No captron,

the buck stops on Obama's desk. It WAS his fault and the FBI took 3 weeks to get there because they're doing a coverup to not lose the election. just like Obama blackmailing Lockheed about their pending 125,000 layoff.
Face it pal, your pres is a criminal.

As Eyolf put it...

If people don't work, you want them to work anyway. If there are no jobs, you blame Obama... but still insist that people don't want to work... which is it?

Obama accepts responsibility for misguided American foreign policy and you call that an apology tour. Then he approves the killing of Osama Bin Laden. The first response of the talking heads is to damage control and blow sarcasm about Obama taking credit for pulling the trigger.

Obama sends missiles to Libya but no boots on the ground and you call it a new war. Obama approves a record number of drone strikes in the War on Terror and you don't notice it. Obama policies have prevented what could have almost been one of the worst economic disasters in history and you blame him for the disaster and the debt fallout.

When Bush allows deregulation that runs the global economy into the ground, it's because of the Democrats in Congress. When Obama can't clean up all of the markets in the world fast enough, then the buck stops with Obama.

From the first day that troops were in Iraq and Afghanistan, any criticism of the president was considered treason and proof that the critics hate America and love terrorists. Now, using epithets of Obama that slur his name, associate him with terrorists and Chicago mobs, are not seen as undermining his leadership and giving the radical Jihadists something to keep fighting for.

In 2008, Obama was young, inexperienced, awkward in international etiquette and overly idealistic. He didn't deserve to be president. He does now.

There is such extremism, inconsistency, and moral relativity in so many of the political hacks in the media and their parrots in these chat threads. While I can't question your right to speak your mind, I do have to question your minds.

Are you aware of what you are saying? Have you tested yourself for consistency over a period of time or do you just "feel validated" when you point and blame. Do you even comprehend the issue when you say "The problem with those people is they don't accept responsibility"?
