Are we better off?

Posted: October 3, 2012 - 5:46pm

Are we better off?

Are you better off now than 4 years ago?

Probably not, let’s see:

Gasoline prices have doubled.

Grocery prices are up 40 percent.

U.S. household income has fallen nearly $6,000 to $50,000.

Your household share of the U.S. debt increased $35,000 to $121,200.

He claims to be our jobs president.

From 1948 to 2008, that’s 60 years, the U.S. experienced 37 months of unemployment over 8 percent.

Since 2008, under Obama, the U.S. experienced 43 months of unemployment over 8 percent.

Wow! That’s pretty amazing. Obama, in just 3-1/2 years, managed to do what 11 previous

presidents couldn’t accomplish in 60 years.

More change we can do without.

Better Off? Heck no!

Are we better off? Certainly not. We have a government that is about to collapse under its own weight and a$16 trillion debt that at our current GDP, our grandkids will not be able to pay off. Your angry president is about to (1/1/13) "level the playing field" by taking even more of your hard earned money and redistributing it, You have way too much and you stole it all from the poor. Shame on you, but we love you anyhow - Steve

If only it were a "trickle"...

...feels more like a rushing torrent, to me.

I've coined a new name for that disorder...

Myeye08--governogasmic. I'm working on my entry for the Urban dictionary as we speak.

Gasoline prices

Presidents don't control them.
As to a collapsing government, that was when Bush left office.
It appears Romney won the debate. We'll see if anybody cares.

OFB-kind of quiet

I wonder why it's so quiet. Don't worry, I'm always on the alert for a stray lib 24/7. I just figured out why it's so quiet. The libs are all at their doctor appointments trying to get some meds for sore butts after last nights kicking. LOL
