Flying First Class
It’s all about how you travel and with whom you get to be seated. We all understand class…first class, second class, third class…or having class…or no class.
Mitt Romney’s recent remarks, when he was among his first class friends, give us some insight into his class-consciousness. His distain for the 47 percent is pure aristocratic dogma and their distain for the ‘little people”…so far below him and his kind and so incapable of rational thought or understanding.
And, although those in his class have had their taxes reduced by about 60 percent since the 1950s, he pretty much rejects that value of anyone who does not pay taxes, certainly including those who are retired, are disabled, unemployed or bankrupt because of overwhelming medical expenses…this is not to mention his own mysterious taxes and some large Corporations paying no tax at all.
His arrogance and lack of human compassion is quite unbelievable for someone who thinks he is qualified to lead a democracy. Not even the unlimited corporate funding machine should be able to spin this into a positive trait.
Meanwhile we have other class related issues. Not only has class warfare been carried on by the 1 percent for years to redistribute the wealth and power to themselves…they have succeeded in blazing fashion… but they even have the temerity to label any attempt to stop their progress as “class warfare.” It is not the content of your character, but the content of your wallet that determines your worth in their version of these United States.
Now they are even attempting to reclassify citizenship to take away the right to vote from those who do not meet their standards.
Oh, come on folks, we can do better than that.

I for one have all the zeros I need, alls I need is that ever elusive 1 in front of all those zeros. I drive a 14 year old car with 300,000 miles! It's gone from being a necessity to a challenge now but to my point, there's nothing wrong with driving an older car. You don't need a new car, a fancy iphone5, a cable tv bundle that costs over $125 a month, a big fancy house, you don't need all that... Be happy!! You libbies should try it. Yes, there has been redistribution - Upwards!! And taxation does redistribution to build the highways, schools, infrastructure, police/fire,... all those things that benefit us all.
Work harder? Really? Don't you know that American productivity is higher than any other industrialized country? Kind of reminds me of G. W. Bush's reaction to a citizen who told him that they work multiple jobs. Do you know what his reaction was? He said, "that is uniquely American, isn't it?"
As the polls show the Republicans losing the Presidency and possibly both houses of Congress you will see more desperate statements from the conservative bag of hyperbole.

how about we dont distribute at all and everyone works for their own money and pays their fair share. This mean, everyone, EVERYONE pays at least $1 to the federal government. Nobody can be a tax burden and nobody, including farmers, can collect government subsidies.

I have a guess, you lefties would still whine because the same people are rich, rich would cut jobs and we would have 20% unemployment. Food, gas, energy would skyrocket and we would be a 3rd world country.

...primary goal. If I'm doing well I don't care how many people are making more than me. I don't evaluate my well-being by comparing my situation to others, I look at my situation objectively. Do I have enough to cover my housing, food, medical, clothing, and essentials? If yes, I'm doing okay. If I've got some left over after covering those things, I'm doing great.

Let me give you a real life situation. As a small business owner, based on my very limited profit margin, if my taxes go up on my business 2%.......I have two options; shut my doors or cut an employee from full-time to less than part-time.

Nowhere in my post do I say any of this. Oh wait, I did say redistribute but that's not a concervative mantra that's something you liberals are all about...
Class warfair is a liberal issue as well. Conservatives don't have annamosity toward the rich, they wish to emulate them, not suck off the teet.
