When is enough, enough?

Posted: September 5, 2012 - 2:01pm

When is enough, enough?

Presidential candidate Mitt Romney says he loves this country. He wants to help the American people.

How does putting your money in tax havens overseas, shipping jobs overseas, using tax loopholes that only the rich are able to use to avoid as much tax as possible help the American people?

He says he wouldn’t be fit to be president if he didn’t do all these things. Who pays for all these benefits he receives? The American people are paying for this.

I would like to know how this is helping the American people. I call it greed, not love or help.

How much money does a persons need? When is enough, enough?

Lloyd Hallada

Are you seriously confused by his need for cash to run for Prez?

How else do you think you can beat an Incumbent president that flies all over the USA for free, campaigns for free, and buys votes for free, using the American taxpayers dollar?

answer this:

If Obama off shored jobs and huge anounts of personal cash, would the GOP be screaming at the top of their lungs about how 'unAmerican' he is?

Yeh, I thought so.

This coming from an Obama supporter who seems to

forget that Obama allegedly bailed out the auto industry, but fails to mention that GM still owes $50 billion but is building a plant in China for over $1 million. Who's shipping jobs overseas?

What benefits?

It is Romney's money and not the government. If
he wants to put it under his mattress, he can.

What benefits are you talking about?
You mean the tax code of 70,000 pages. I say
get rid of it and have a flat tax.

We are spending the money on the President , not the
Republican nominee.

I see that Obama lost another round in Arizona.

It's fitting that it happens on the night his chattel makes his empty speech in Carolina. Arizona law is supreme and they can now weed out the illegal voters out there as they wish. Another nail in the clown's coffin.

Romney would never sign a

Romney would never sign a flat tax unless it had exemptions for him and his rich buddies.

He's nothing but a money hoarder and to people like that there is never enough. They behave much like meth addicts and use whatever means necessary to hoard more and more wealth. Get between them and their next dollar and you'll get squashed.

Romney wouldn't have to spend a dime of his own money just like his previous company. The Kochs would be happy to finance his purchase of the White House because they and the others intend on getting a country to play with; OUR COUNTRY.

Robber baron days here we come again lead by the flag waving republicans.

Keen insight, fish. There is

Keen insight, fish. There is nothing illegal about having some money overseas. I have always paid a good accountant to find as many tax deductions and interest bearing depositories as possible. It is my money and where I keep it does not harm and is of no concern to any of the cry babies here in the northland. BTW I saved 14,000 high paying green jobs this AM.
Love to all - Steve

Im Certain the Mittsters 3 victims that spoke @ DNC last night

Did not leave any question in anyones( actually functioning )mind . How the Mittsters Bain Capital folks , bought companies with private borrowed money ,then borrowed more to bankrupt the companies , sent the employees packing ,while they wandered off with big fees.
Absolutely no ethics !
You would have to be crazy to support the Mittster for any position , other than Russian Czar , maybe that explains his interest in our greatest " geo-political enemies" , Really !!!!
Remember John McCain selected Sarah Palin ,after reviewing many years of the Mittsters " secret" Tax Returns !!!

Sorry crapton, but according to DFL thinking

as far a Bain and Romney, he didn't build it without the government, so it must be Obama's fault. But you are right, we are crazy to think that a man with a proven record of financial stregnth would be able to turn around the economy, when a teacher just spends the country further into debt with no visible results. Even he only gives himself an Incomplete on his record.

PDNut Listen to your President tonight ,You May Learn something

You might actually find out how & why we ended up with your famous deficit clock ! A vulture capitalist wont/cant change the ticking upward. The Willard of OZ seeks only to keep pulling those levers behind the scenes so folks like you continue to believe in loud noises ,smoke & mirrors , Not actual economic realities
Even Judy was fooled initially by the original Willard of OZ .
Maybe you could help explain again to us all one more time the effectiveness of Tax Cuts , and Trickle Down Economics.
The Party of NO = No Results & No Credibility .

Listen to your President

and you will here the same sorry tune "It's Not My Fault"!

"Axelrod blames ‘other’ Democrats for platform mess"

David Axelrod and Valerie Jarrett played cleanup this morning on the Democratic platform mess, blaming ‘others’ for allowing ‘Jerusalem’ and ‘God’ to drop out of the platform language.

“Honestly Charlie, he was counting on others, he had some other duties and responsibilities so when he learned that it had been taken out of the platform, he had it put back in,” Axelrod said, explaining that the President learned about the missing language yesterday.

Mayor Corey Booker and former Gov. Ted Strickland of Ohio were both part of the platform drafting process.

Clinton hit the ball out of the park last night

no matter who frames this discussion.

One of the GOP commentators said that the GOP did not have such a voice who could 'clearly articulate' the differences in the two parties.

And while Mrs. Romney's talk was excellent - Michelle Obama talked about growing up poor and helping give everyone a leg up (not a hand out) so they could help our country recover.

After last night I feel HOPEFUL that once again there are solutions and a way out. Romney-Ryan offered no concrete plans or vision.

enough is enough

It always tickles my funny bone when other greedy people make remarks about what people do with their money. A Crosby school teacher at that and went back to the trough for more with the student driving scam. Get paid when sleeping while the kids made countless jokes over just driving around where ever?

Snowda

"no matter who frames this discussion" I disagree, it was a rambling long speech by a liberal that tries to come off as a centrist playing strictly to the far left of his own party.

I did watch the fact checks today

they said WJC may have 'cherry picked' a few items but they did not say he lied -- like they did for the GOP speeches. Not just lied, but there were some 'pants on fire' ratings. LOL.

Try using an impartial fact check source, not the GOP one.

Don't trust every fact checker

A person has to fact check the fact checkers.
Most conversatives learned l o n g ago that to
get to any truth, we had to do our own fact checking.
That doesn't mean we never make a mistake, we do
realize that all politicans tend to juice up their remarks.
Some way more than others and yes, some do make mistakes and
don't remember correctly something that may have happened 20 years ago.

If I hadn't personally seen the floor vote last night on
the platform, I would have fact checked.
They really did boo God and the Capital of Israel.
I am amazed that Southie didn't know the capital of Israel
unless she was spoofing us.

Speaking of rich politicans

President and Mrs. Clinton have gotten rich off of his being President. I say fine with that, but where do think he has his money stashed? Do you seriously think none of their money
is in any overseas accounts? How much did he get for the Marc Rich pardon? where is that money?
John and Teresa Kerry - same thing.
John Edwards - same thing, in fact, he is saying now " what do I have to do to be noticed by the DNC?"
John Corzine -- where is MF Global money?
The Kennedy's for many years had off shore accounts in
Figi ( I think that was the place) In fact, where did old man
Kennedy make all his money? Bootlegging.

Please know the difference between "hitting the ball out"
and hitting our checkbook out of the park.

Scary-that is mean

That is an unfair thing to say and so untrue. You can fact check by viewing the video yourself or reading a transcript.
I do no coding and resent the implication you made.

I have spent years reading a interview and watching some one being interviewed and then hear the summary on the
radio news or read another paper and wow it is different.
They left out important parts of the interview.
I know that I am not the only one.
We do not code ( whatever you mean by that).
I do not make up my own facts. I'm a honest person.

Scaryphailin's Party of Peace and Love!

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A spokesman for the Secret Service told The Daily Caller that the agency is aware of video showing a delegate at the Democratic National Convention expressing a desire to “kill” Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney.

“We are aware of it,” Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told TheDC on Thursday.

He said the department is “taking the appropriate follow-up steps” with the woman.

Video surfaced on Wednesday of a woman identifying herself as New York delegate Julia Rodriguez telling The Blaze, “If I see him” — in reference to Romney — “I would like to kill him.”

Hmmmmmm

Well, Fair, the thumbs down must certainly be because they
are against this woman and her threat against Romney.
She made sure we knew she was from Puerto Rico and has lived here for 50 years. Otherwise, she made no sense other
than her threat.

I do wonder how people give a thumbs down for this and for
something that isn't partisan.
