There is hope
There is Hope I am an American. I love America the great land we had, but I am chagrined at the direction it is now going.
Fellow Americans please pick up you Bible and read Isiah chapter one. It is a picture of America today.
America was founded and built on biblical principles. When we allowed the liberals (not Democrats, they are not all liberal) to start taking those principles out of our government and out of our lives by deception (ie: the first amendment clearly says the government is not to establish a national religion not keep our beliefs out of government).
Remember, our forefathers came here to escape the bonds of the Church of England. It seems that humanism is our the “state religion” today. America is headed headlong into destruction, becoming subjects to another nation or destroying ourselves.
Look deep inside yourselves for the patriotism and the initiative to America great that our forefathers had. There is hope, God said “If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves and seek my face I will hear and heal their land.”

"America was founded and built on biblical principles."
No it wasn't. A basic founding principle was separation of church and state.
Wrong
I have to correct you rolflindy america's founding fathers relied heavily on their christianty and did not advocate the seperation of church and state. What they said was the people should be free to belong to that christian religion that they wish and not have a specific ( state Sponsored) religion forced upon them.
I have been reading letters that the founders wrote to friends and each other while debating and buliding our constution and God was very much in the works and is credited with playing a pivitol role in the finial draft of what is our constitution. I will add that the document as it was written is very much alive and as viable today as it was back then. And yes that included the second admendent.
"people should be free to belong to that christian religion"
No no. Any religion or none.
Quotes from Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Paine, John Adams, George Washington, Benjamin Franklin, James Madison, etc suggest that they were Deists, not Christians. Many did not believe Jesus was the son of god and did not want the laws of the United States to be based on one religion or any religion. It's called separation. They all knew about the Inquisition.

No one can deny that many of the founding fathers of the United States of America were men of deep religious convictions based in the Bible and their Christian faith in Jesus Christ. Of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence, nearly half (24) held seminary or Bible school degrees.
Of the 56 men who signed the Declaration of Independence,
I wonder how many were gay?
How many signers were women?
Silly question.
Unlike today women back then
Unlike today women back then knew their role. Now make my dinner and do the dishes.
silly answer
Bill Maxfield got his wife to sign the letter this time
Clever.
When men started taking over the role
of women everything went downhill.
Another dig at the writer and his wife
Good point FnB. I agree some men are too soft.
Can we all take a dig at the writers and their wives?
The ones who write in and sign their name?
