Carney is running

Posted: August 8, 2012 - 5:08pm

Run for Senate

Minnesota’s Republican Party is leading America straight over a cliff. Here’s the proof — direct quotes from the 2012 platform: “phasing out of Social Security”… “the abolition of the Federal Reserve”… “the Keynesian model… has no place in federal policy”… “Government-mandated employee benefits should be abolished”… “nullification of unconstitutional federal law in accordance with state sovereignty”… end “participation in the United Nations,… the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund altogether”…

In the 2010 GOP primary I finished second to Tom Emmer.I’m running again — and asking for your vote in the Aug. 14 Republican primary for the U.S. Senate — open to all voters.

We need to move the Minnesota Republican Party away from the brink.

You can vote for me in the primary, and still vote for any candidate on the November ballot.

Bob Carney Jr.

A Moderate Republican?

Is that possible?

I hope more moderates like Mr. Carney can really take the GOP out of the hands of the far right, tea party followers. If not, they will take the GOP and the country off the cliff.

Mr. Carney there are many on this forum who agree with most if not all those excerpts from the 2012 platform. Let us now hear from them............
