Group Home

Posted: August 3, 2012 - 5:42pm

When all is said and done, living next door to a group home is no spookier than living next door to a cemetery.

Well having lived next to a cemetery

I agree it was never spooky. But then again, they are dead. Can the same be said of those in a group home? Are they all passive or are there violent people living there?

Like I said,

as long as it's not a group of liberals. A lot of Democrats leave the cemetaries to vote every 2 years!

Ahh, but

the dead and undead with no brains vote Democrat! Along with the people the Democrats have been enslaving with entitlements for decades, of course.
Back to Cuba with you, commie.

I disagree. Living Next to a Group Home is one thing

living way out in the country with a day care next to criminal sex offenders is another. I appreciate well run group homes and their residents. Dead people usually don't bother others. It is those with dead souls that are the spooks.

All Group Homes are not the same.

Group Homes for Criminals are not the same as Group Homes for the Disabled. When most people think of the mentally or physically handicapped, we are not thinking about the people who should be in prison. How can someone say that a child molester who has graduated from school, seemed out of tune, but could hold a job, run a house house.......... is mentally incompetent? Thus, no prison time. He/She spents a few years in a Rehabilitation Center and now is being released in one of these Group Homes. I live near a privately ran Group Home (no complaints), but I would not want to live near a State ran Group Home.

If the group home was for dangerous clients

there would have HAD to be notification. Because the clients are not dangerous, there was no law that the neighbors had to be notified.
