The Great Brains of the Brainerd area gathered at the Arboretum Saturday, Jan. 14, for the fifth annual Brain Buster Fund Raiser for the AAUW Scholarship Fund.
Over 100 people pooled their knowledge to answer trivia questions in six different categories. There were up to six people on a team. Some good-natured haggling, and dickering took place to come to a team consensus for answers to such questions as when the Wright brothers first flew their plane or who was the only president sworn in by a woman.
Laughter, treats, prizes! What a kick! Missed it this year? Don’t fret. Contact anyone in AAUW and get in on the fun next year.
