I live along County No. 77, where construction has been underway since May 1. The construction company is Anderson Bros. of Brainerd. I had an appointment at 7 a.m. Wednesday morning and they were at work at the 371 stoplight. At 8:30, when I returned, I had to wait to join the one-way route back to my home. I observed a class act of workmen and women, in a very efficient manner, with more trucks and equipment I thought imaginable, moving down the road at an unbelievable pace. They were on their last layer of tar.
At 1 p.m., I walked out to the road, which is 1 1/2 miles from 371 and spoke with one of the workers. He cheerfully told me that they expected to be finished by the weekend, and that, yes, all the staff was at work on the road.
All I can say, “Aren’t we fortunate to have such a capable business in our community.” Super work!
