We were saddened to hear of the death of Curt Hansen, our beloved “Coach.” Nearly all of his music students lovingly called him that. He was one of a kind.
On reflection, I must say that he was a real gentleman, a lover of music and creativity, and above all, a positive force in the lives of all the choir members he taught in Brainerd.
God bless him, his surviving family, and all those who try to emulate his classroom and community example.
He will be missed, but certainly the memories of his choral music will live on in the minds of many of his former students. I am but one of many.
