In a recent (Tuesday Jan. 11) article in the Brainerd Dispatch, we learned that U.S. Sen. Amy Klobuchar was going to be in several spots in the Brainerd lakes area to talk to the citizens of our area. Trouble is, she was going to be here at 10 a.m. the same morning as the article came out in the Dispatch. Thanks for the advance notice. It’s a good way to keep your opponents away.
In checking with the Brainerd Dispatch, it was learned that they received the notice via electronic communication on Sunday, Jan. 9, a non-working day. Upon reading the electronic communication on Monday morning, it was too late for Monday’s edition so they put it out as soon as possible, Tuesday morning. Kudos to the Dispatch and shame on you, Amy Klobuchar. If that is what you call working with your constituents, stay away. We don’t need you. We will vote accordingly.

The info was available if you use other news sources and not just BDD. I heard a news bulletin on the radio either, WJJY or MPR, late Monday morning that Amy Klobuchar was going to be in the area. She had been making stops other areas around the state on Monday as well. Later in the day I believe I saw a blip on the BDD website about her itinerary.
Senator Klobuchar
You assume it's her fault? Could be the story ran late?
