President Ahmadinejad announced Wednesday that Iran is mastering the entire nuclear fuel cycle. That mastery includes mining, processing, enriching, and fabricating fuel from uranium for a nuclear power plant such as the one at Bushehr in Iran. We are unlikely to hear about Iran’s other nuclear objective — producing a nuclear weapon which can be a payload on Iran’s Shahab-3 medium range ballistic missile.

Just across the German border in the small Czech city of Temelin is one of Europe’s most accident prone nuclear power plants. Green Party officials in Germany have repeatedly called for “the entire facility to be shut down immediately.” No longer. Sixty miles from Temelin, the Bavarian city of Passau is a beneficiary of 1.2 million kwh of daily power exported to Germany by the Temelin nuclear plant. That power is keeping Passau’s lights on and electric motors turning.

Forestview Middle School is 339,000 square feet, the entire site area covers 180 acres of land, and we currently have 1,880 students in grades 5-8. At first glance, it could be said that the building looks “imposing.” Imposing? Yes. It’s a big building that covers a lot of ground and houses a large number of students and teachers.
