Republicans v. women

Posted: October 28, 2012 - 9:29pm

The Republican conservative party, Romney and Ryan, want smaller government and yet they want to interject in women’s personal health. They want to limit women’s access to birth control, vaginal ultrasound probes before a woman can get an abortion, even in the case of rape and incest. I want the government to stay out of women’s health decisions concerning their own bodies. These are very painful decisions to be made between a woman and her doctor.

Republicans, don’t give me this small government stuff!

Moral High Ground Must Assume Republicons know best ?

And if that does not work ,they can retroactively change it.

Taking your time machine back the to the 1960s is a little extreme , turning back the clock only works for daylight savings time changes.

Nice talking points, oldfarmboy.

Most women who will vote against the GOP need none of those things. They are just mad that old men think their power should extend to their bodies.

Men have many health issues, but you don't see women rallying against them getting help for them. Why is it acceptable to deny women health care? Is that another winning strategy from ALEC and Karl Rove?

Time will tell.

instead

Instead women urge their husbands and significant others to go to the doctor, get a prostate exam, erectile dysfunction, ect. But God forbid a woman goes to the Dr. and gets birth control for irregular periods. Yeah guys!! Women take them for more than BC reasons. You going to do away with the free mammograms for women that can't afford them? That's called preventive!
Maybe you boys should listen to your wives and mothers a little more.

It's not funny the comments that Todd and Richard made...

After Tuesday November 6, 2012, Election Day, perhaps some sanity will come back around and some Tea Partiers are voted out and not voted in, and legislation with true compromise will move this country forward (and not backward as the Tea Party platform wants) once again...

Exactly, purposed...

The child conceived as the result of a rape is the forgotten victim, and at least half of them are females--

The woman above was conceived as the result of a rape, did she deserve to die for the sin of her father?

Why are women sooooo

Why are women sooooo concerned about birth control ?
When have you not been able to get birth control?
There is help for you.

You get a prescription and get it filled. You can get help
at Planned Parenthood or pay for it yourself.
Your husband , boyfriend can help pay for it.
If it is for health reasons, you can get help from Dr. office
sometimes they give meds, planned parenthood will be
glad to help you. They have enough money as they
are spending about 12 million to get Pres. Obama elected.
That would buy many packs of pills.

Spoken like a typical, jackboot, leftist thug...

...always accusing the other side of doing what you, yourself are guilty of. Did you notice no one disrupted the Nolan meeting? Cravaack, OTH, was not so lucky.

There's a pattern here that is quite pronounced for anyone who takes the time to investigate. One side (the lawless left) harasses and tries to silence the other side (the shrinking violet right) while simultaneously complaining that their freedom of speech is being violated if they aren't allowed to make it impossible for the other side to have a lawful meeting. This sort of thing is so common it's almost cliche, and yet Eyolf still thinks the right wing is filled with "whackos"...

It's the Nolan supporters

like you that sanction those criminal actions eyolf. Behind the scenes you people twist everything to undermine the good principals we embrace. Spewing your hatred behind flowery words doesn't make you saintly.

Excuse me, Eyolf?

The Code Pinkos who invaded the Cravaack assembly, dressed in provocative outfits and hoping to create mayhem were not "cornered". They were aggressors and agitators. I'd be perfectly thrilled to keep this election cycle focused on the issues rather than dealing with all the leftist generated intrigue, but your twisted comrades don't want that, do they? I can see why, when your presidential candidate appears to have let four Americans die without lifting a finger to even get them them least bit of assistance. Then, to make matters worse, they roll out ridiculous claims hoping they can "wag the dog" and get the stupid people to think that people take up military grade weaponry to protest a silly movie, and take FOREVER to secure the area. Then, when they do, and find the RECORDINGS of the calls for help, they classify them as TOP SECRET.

If Obama doesn't go down for his treasonous behavior, we'll know we are already firmly in the hands of our enemy.

Thank you for your expert analysis of the military situation in Benghazi. Your election forecast makes me feel very secure know that warrior Romney will soon be in charge. I'm sure he learned a lot about defense while doing his Vietnam War service in southern France.

"Liberals will fight when

"Liberals will fight when cornered". Wow they sure like to fight
like John Ward - everything is fighting tirelessly.
I guess it runs in the DFL family. They should use the word
"dirty" as an adjective.
Create mayhem is the perfect way to describe it.
They "project" meaning if you hear Pres. Obama accuse Romney of something, it is almost a sure bet
that he himself has done it or is doing it.

Mary Jane

the writer of this letter. You are going to be able to get
an abortion and birth control pills whenever you need it.
Yes, we want smaller government.

They won't get into your person health, seriously, the
thing that is doing that is Obamacare.
Our country is going broke, we need jobs and employment to add to the people contributing to the federal treasury so that people can keep the programs they have grown dependent on.
If not, you best start working on learning to be independent of the government as we are broke. Only 63 % of eligible workers are in the work force. We need more than that
to continue at this spending pace.

speaking of John Ward....

has anyone else heard the ad with the lady claiming she could not get her insurance to cover some flood damage, but after a call to Ward the check was in the mail? I want to know what Ward did to make that happen? Did he threaten? What did he do to get a private company to do something? What authority did he have in the matter? There either needs to be a straight forward answer to this or the ad the Ward approves of is a straight lie. Everyone knows that the guy is a liar, it would be nice if he wasn't so bad at it.

"I'm totally convinced that

"I'm totally convinced that many of the liberal minions would vote for Satan himself if he were on the democratic ticket."

I guess that would depend largely on who is running on the republican ticket running against him, wouldn't it?

Which brings up the very obvious point that voting democrat or republican has been a choice between the lesser of 2 evils for quite some time now. When are we going to wise up and get rid of the 2 party monopoly and get some good, smart, logical problem solvers to represent us in government?

Pink cameras Chey....

...does the Democratic party issue them? Is that why there were several people with the same camera? I can't wait until the legal investigation is complete. I hope they subpoena the e-mails and phone records of all you co-conspirators who were swarming immediately after this setup, because the whole invasion at the Cravaack meeting REEKS of conspiracy. And don't lecture me on false witness, because there are multiple eyewitnesses who do not support the claim that the agitators at the meeting were "innocent" bystanders who just wanted to hear Chip Cravaak speak. Who brings a camera to a political event of someone they clearly oppose except for the purpose of trying to excavate dirt or to creatively edit footage to LIE. They had every right to ask them to leave. Obviously, the next time they need to have a cop present.

The fracas started when

a young dfl tracker was forcibly removed (despite the fact that it was advertised as a public event... not a private fund-raiser, which it wasn't). It was her mother who took pictures and has filed assault charges. The organizer of the event has already issued an apology for the 'behavior' of one of the republican attendees.

Purposed

No one, including the event organizer, thought the forcible removal of a young dfl tracker and her mother from the public event was appropriate. Hence, the assault charges. I suppose you think you are the epitome of 'maturity' (arrogant senility might be a more honest description).

Why is it 'Purposed'

every discussion you engage in deteriorates into an insult contest? Typical of your ilk... you're incapable of discussing the issues, so deflect by impugning people's motives and character. Yeah, you really are purposeful... maybe you should check your bible on that.

I'd simply rather discuss the issues. Not get into a [filtered word] contest with a skunk. Have fun!
