Betty E. Niemann

Betty E. Niemann, age 88, formerly of Little Falls, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Jan. 7, 2013. She was born June 13, 1924, in St. Charles, Mo., to Edward and Bessie Mae Williams. She graduated in Seattle, Wash., in 1943, and worked for Westinghouse during WW II. In 1948 she married Kenneth Niemann of Little Falls, who preceded her in death in 1995. She is survived by three daughters, Sue Sterling, of Brainerd, Vicki Scheele (David), of Becker, and Nancy Buffum (Dwight), of New Brighton; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was active in her church sewing guild and in the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013, at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Little Falls. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements have been entrusted to Shelley Funeral Chapel, Little Falls.
