Burton R. Coleman

SPRINGVALE — Burton Rufus Coleman, 79, of Springvale, passed away Jan. 31, 2013.

Burt was united in marriage to Joyce Soderman at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Brainerd, Minn. They made their home in Des Moines, Iowa, before moving back to Springvale.

Burt is survived by wife, Joyce; children, Mark (Lorie) Hanson, of Guam, Cyndi Dowling, of California, Michael Coleman, of DeSoto, Iowa, Myron Coleman, of West Des Moines, Iowa, Marshall (Valerie) Coleman, of Eagle, Neb., Matt (Jody) Coleman, of Pleasant Hill, Iowa; 12 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Stewart (Allene) Coleman, of Stanchfield; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Salem Lutheran Church, Dalbo.
