Cecilia L. Gorman

Cecilia Louise Gorman, age 88, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at her home at Edgewood Vista Senior Living in Brainerd. She was born on Feb. 13, 1924, to Michael and Mary (Westermeyer) Mueller in Pierz, Minn.

She is survived by her sons, Roger (Jan), of Brainerd, and Bruce (Kristy), of Madison, Wis.; brother, Michael (Betty) Mueller; sister, Theresa DeRosier, of Woodenville, Wash.; sister-in-law, Violet Hancock, of Brainerd; nine grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Roy; and son, Gary.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Feb. 6, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd with Pastor Thomas Barthel officiating. Burial will be at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Fort Ripley. Friends may call one hour prior to services on Wednesday at the funeral home.
